In 2004, at the age of 22, I hit rock bottom. I had no qualifications, no skills, no job, no direction, and was burdened with £20,000 of debt. I knew something had to change. Fortunately, I crossed paths with Neil Prem, a life coach who showed me the transformative power of coaching. Working with him not only helped me realize my potential but inspired me to take a life coaching course with the Life Purpose Institute.

While the course deepened my understanding of personal growth and development, I knew I needed real-world experience to establish credibility. I put coaching on hold and spent the next 15 years immersing myself in the professional world, determined to build the skills and expertise necessary to help others in a meaningful way.

Over the past two decades, I’ve experienced significant highs and lows, each teaching me invaluable lessons about life, business, and leadership. My career in recruitment allowed me to thrive as a top-performing recruiter, working with industry leaders such as Barclaycard, GSK, and Capgemini. Along the way, I gained deep insights into the diverse individuals and roles that drive organizations across a broad range of industries.

For nearly 15 years, I not only built successful recruitment teams but also hired, trained, and mentored numerous professionals, shaping their careers and unlocking their potential. My dedication and leadership were recognized with four leadership awards across two organizations, further solidifying my passion for helping people succeed.

Today, I’ve stepped back from the demands of daily leadership to focus on my family and return to my true calling: coaching. This new chapter allows me to leverage my professional and personal experiences to guide individuals through career transitions, professional challenges, and life’s complexities.

No matter your situation, I’m here to empower you with the tools, strategies, and support you need to overcome obstacles and unlock your full potential.

  • Wesley was fantastic in getting me onboard with Drax. All the conversations I had with him were great , both in LinkedIn and phone call. He persuaded me to interview with the company without being forceful and you’ll never understand how important that was for me at the time. My experience with Wesley was so positive that it gave me faith in the company he worked for and so I rejected another offer to take his. Wesley made me feel heard, appreciated and valued. I think Wesley would be a great asset to any company and I’m sure you’ll excel whatever you do!

  • Wes lead the growth of Whitehall Resources' permanent function from a single small team to multiple teams and ultimately to a major division; critical to our client and candidate offering, our success in our specialist markets and our brand as a whole. Achieving numerous milestones for growth and awards for collective and personal achievement, Wes inspired his business units to think bigger and be better. As a senior leader within the business, Wes constantly challenged processes and historical approaches to ensure that his division and our wider business consistently improved. He worked selflessly and collaboratively with other managers to seek out ways of making us more coherent and better able to deploy a more consistent and standardised approach across the sales team; helping us to better recognise and convert opportunities. He forged strong relationships with HR, Learning & Development and Internal Recruitment to help improve our hire, onboarding, training and development for all new starters, not just in his division. Wes exemplified each of our values; honesty, integrity, passion and being an expert at what we do. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

  • Wes is an excellent Recruiter/Team Lead/Account Manager with excellent attention to detail. Wes is very experienced at recruiting at varying levels within the financial services industry although particularly skilled when it comes to Risk, Governance and Compliance vacancies. Wes’ candidate and client management skills are second to none, whether it be drilling down on what a candidates motivations are and what they are really looking for or qualifying roles and setting clients expectations. Wes’ willingness to go the extra mile is why he has been so successful and I have learnt a lot from him in these and many other areas. Wes is a genuine and likeable Manager and it is because of these traits that clients, candidates and members of his team want to work for and with him. Wes is a Recruiter you can trust and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to candidates and clients alike, it has been a pleasure working with Wes and hope to share many more successes with him in the future.
